Save Your Change

If you're like me, you typically don't carry cash on you; but if you normally handle transactions with cash, then you probably end up with change in your purse or pocket at the end of the day. Take the change and put it in a change organizer, roll them in coin rollers, or stack them. Change adds up quicker than you think so even if you don't use cash all the time, you can still save your change.  My credit union doesn't require me to roll or organize coins so it saves time. If, however, your financial institution requires you to roll the coins, roll them before heading to the bank. If you read my earlier blog, Christmas Budget, you can add the change you've saved to your Christmas Club to increase your Christmas budget.
